The Profhilo® procedure takes approximately 15 minutes to complete the small injections in the appropriate places. Your appointment will usually be booked for 30-45 minutes to make sure there is plenty of time to discuss your medical history, aftercare instructions and to ask as many questions as you need.
A Profhilo® treatment can last up to a year, however, everyone’s skin is different and the individual needs vary greatly.
The Profhilo® treatment has a minimal level of discomfort. Numbing cream is usually applied to the area 10 minutes prior to injecting the Profhilo® to reduce any discomfort.

Some people experience small spots of bruising where the Profhilo® has been injected. This is most common around the corner of the eyes as the skin is thin and there are many tiny vessels. The small bruising can usually be easily covered up by make-up and usually disappears within 1 – 2 weeks.
All treatments include a 4 week review appointment to check the progress of your Profhilo® treatment and make sure you are happy with the results. Before and after photos are usually taken at this stage to see the progress made.
